The support I offer
Professional Support for the Emotions You’re Carrying
I am Larissa Rossen, a Registered Clinical Counsellor, who enjoys working with children and adults across various presentations, including grief, bereavement, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, life transitions, relational difficulties, and perinatal mental health including pregnancy and infant loss.
Counselling

(Longer sessions are prorated)
I offer individual counselling for children, teens, and adults who are navigating emotional challenges such as grief and bereavement, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, relationship strain, perinatal mental health issues, and major life transitions.
Each session is tailored to your unique needs, drawing on evidence-based approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and developmental psychology to support you in understanding your emotions, finding steadiness, and reconnecting with yourself.

Therapy Dog — Josie
Josie is our Therapy Dog in Training, and she brings comfort, warmth, and connection into the therapeutic space. Hypoallergenic, gentle, and highly attuned, she is especially beloved by children and individuals navigating anxiety, grief, or emotional overwhelm.
Josie can join your counselling sessions, visit community events, or provide support in schools, elderly homes, and university settings. Her presence often helps clients relax, regulate, and feel more at ease during difficult conversations.
To learn more about Josie or book her for a session or event,
please see her profile or reach out directly.
Groups
Group support offers connection, validation, and a sense of belonging — especially during seasons of grief, motherhood transitions, or emotional overwhelm.
I facilitate several therapeutic and psychoeducational groups. If you are interested in joining or requesting a group for your community, please reach out.
Current and past offerings include:

A gentle, supportive group for parents navigating pregnancy loss, infant loss, and perinatal grief. Meets in-person and online.
-
A relationship-based parenting program that strengthens attachment, emotional connection, and secure parent–child relationships.
-
A grief support group rooted in compassion, meaning-making, and emotional integration.
-
A group for parents and caregivers seeking tools to support anxious children, regulate emotions, and build resilience.
If you would like me to lead a group for your organization, school, or community, please contact me.
